Calli Looking at the Tree

Calli is all ready for Christmas!! She is getting so she will "play" a little bit. Ok so all she does is grab things and put them in her mouth. She also loves her floor toy that has things hanging over her head and she grabs at them and talks to herself. I just love to see how much she is growing and developing. For those of you who don't have kids, it is unlike anything else.

It is amazing how excited we parents get about the smallest things-intentional smiles, babbling, laughing, holding a toy, keeping a pacifier in her mouth for more than 2 seconds, falling asleep without being rocked, sleeping for 12-15 hours a night-straight, pass gas/poop without screaming her brains out, and the other amazing things a 3month old can do!

By the way, we just got new internet and we lost all of our "favorites" so if you could email me your blogs that would be great, because I can't figure out how to look for them on blogger. Thanks!!

I really need to update but our internet doesn't let us add pictures because it is too slow.

Calli smiles all the time it is great to watch. She hates being held laying down or facing the person holding her. She loves to watch what is going on and watch tv. Her favorite toy is her Jump-a-roo. We have to put a pillow or stack of books below her so she has something to jump off of because she is still too short. She sleeps around 12 hours each night, which I love!! SHe also naps around 6 hours each day. SHe is such a sleepy girl!

One Month Old

At one month Calli is weighing 8.5 lbs and is getting bigger everyday. She sleeps great most nights and has only had a few nights that she has gotten up more than once. She hates her carseat if we are not moving in the car or the stroller-she gets very irratated by red lghts. She does great taking bottles and seems to enjoy them more. She goes to church every Sunday and usually decides she needs a bottle when the sermon starts. She loves the worship part though! I think that is our little girl at one month in a nut shell.
