Steps to Catching a Smile

We are updating again at Aunt Holly's house. It takes forever at our house so we don't get to update as much as we like. The first picture is from the day she came home, she looks so cute in her hat!!

Then we have bath time...which she absolutley loves-seriously! We thought she would scream like most babies but she loves them and her favorite part is getting her hair washed.

Next we have her last day in a preemie outfit. Newborn clothes are still a little big but she is so long. We had her two week appointment and she weighs 7lb 12oz, and 19.75 inches-gaining 1lb and growing .25 of a inch in two weeks.

Last we have the adorable outfit from Aunt Holly-which is hot pink even though it looks red in the pictures-again another awesome hat!!

Ok well until we are able to update again hope everyone is doing good-feel free to call and visit I am on maternity leave until the end of October.

Playing Outside On a Friday Night

Unlce Mike, Aunt Holly, Jake, Luke, and AnnaJoy all came over on Friday night before the Rockford vs. Hudsonville football game. Dan and Mike went to the game and we all played outside and watched "Cars." Of course, Aunt Holly took some great pictures!!

Finally an update!!

We came home on Sept 11, (Grandpa Mark's Birthday!) Calli has done great at home. She only gets up once during the night to eat and she goes to bed between 10 and 11.

The first week we were home Dan took all week off, which was great. It gave us lots of family time and we really didn't have to worry if Calli had a bad night of sleep. She has only had a two nights were she was not happy, but those aren't even that bad she was just burping a lot.

We have had a ton of visitors-which has been great, thanks for coming over everyone!

Calli has made visits too. We went to Target, Sam's Club, Grandma Rottier's, Grandma Jill's, and KFC.

She's Here!! Calli Jo Rottier!!!

Calli Jo was born at 1:02am at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Mommy, Daddy and Baby are doing awesome, although quite tired! Calli arrived quickly on the scene!! Noelle arrived at the hospital around 10pm and was quickly transferred to her delivery room to welcome the beautiful new bundle! Vital stats: 6 pounds 12 ounces and 19.5 inches. Beautiful blondish hair and LOTS of it!!!!

Waiting so patiently

Ok...so we really aren't being that patient but we are very excited that sometime in the next two weeks our little one will come into this crazy world. This a picture of her at 20 weeks. Her due date is this Thursday, September 6.

Make sure to check this blog for updates and pictures from when she is born. I am sure it will be easier to get some pictures online faster than through the mail.
