Her First Licorice

Aunt Kate was over and we were all eating Twizzlers and Calli of course wanted some. They were a little hard and she knawed on it for a few minutes and didn't get any pieces off so it made a great piece of entertainment/teething toy.

This is how Luke figured out how to bum a ride on Calli's stroller while she was in it. No joke he figured out how to do it on his own. When she wasn't in it he was.
Calli and Anna, they are going to be such trouble someday but for now they are adorable, sweet little girls!

The Tulip Festival

Calli was very interested in putting things in her mouth. It was most difficult to get the pictures taken without her trying to eat flowers or my hair for that matter.

Waiting for Dad....

....so I can watch TV!! Mom has this stupid idea in her head that if she doesn't have the tv on she might get more done around the house. But honestly there is always something to keep her from doing stuff, why does she make me suffer??

Calli Jo's Baby Dedication

Calli was dedicated on Sunday. She thoroughly enjoyed all the attention while we were up front. As you can see by the bottom picture she was making her faces and everything. She even talked a little bit and passed gas but only those of us on stage could here it THANK GOODNESS. She was very interested in the little baby next to her too. She did whine a little bit when everyone bowed their heads to pray and took their eyes off her-what a little drama queen.

Swingin'

We got a baby swing for the girl but we are still looking for a swingset. I knew she would love it so we just hung it from a tree but we had trimmed all of the low branches last fall. Oh well, she did indeed love it. Our neighbors said we could use their swingset (which is right on our property line) because their grandkids are almost too old for it anyway and someones got to use it.

What a face!?

I think when she got her teeth she decided she needed a new smile to go with it. The first picture is honestly how she smiles right now!

She is so happy just playing in her bed while I took care of her laundry.
