As sleeping as she looks, you would think we got her up extra early to celebrate Jesus' resurrection, but actually she didn't get her Easter basket until 9pm due to the craziness of the day. I got home from work at 7:35, Dan had to leave to help out with a high schoolers church breakfast at 7:45. He called and woke us up at 9:30 so we got to church at 11. Then we went to Aunt Holly's and Uncle Mike's to celebrate with the Rottiers. Then we went to my parents to visit with everyone (by this time she had pooped through her Easter dress anyway). Then we went home.
We didn't get her any Easter candy but Aunt Holly and Booshie gave her plenty!! All we got her for her basket (yes it is a baseball/softball basket) was this bunny and put what money we would have spent on Candy in her savings account. Next year I am sure we will have to give her some sweets.
She seemed to enjoy her kitty more than her bunny. He loves her just as much as she loves him, honestly.

I have come to the realization that I have horrible parents!!All I got was this giant rabbit thing, and it doesn't even taste as good as my cat!

6 month stats
My little beast is 16lbs 13oz (70percentile) and 25.75 inches long (50 percentile). Her personality develops more each day, and it is great! She is so even tempered and smiley. She still loves her baths, she even takes showers with me without screaming when we are running short on time. She loves to torture her cat by trying to eat his tail, pull his whiskers, and she manages to pet him nicely some of the time. The only food she really seemed disinterested in was strawberry flavored applesauce, but everything else she has goobled up. She is still nursing like a pro and she only eats 4 times a day so it works I guess.
She is still taking 3 naps on days that our schedule lets her, and she sleeps 12-14 hours at night on days she can sleep in. She is so good even on days when she has to get up early with her Dad and misses her naps. She is much more like her father in this area, I need my sleep. She is so funny when we have to get her up. She always sleeps with a blanket over her face, she puts it there herself. So when we get her up we pull the blanket off, call her name, and she will open her eyes up and have the biggest grin it is great!!
The other night Dan called me at work at like midnight and said "Your daughter is awake." I was like, what do you want me to do? He said "nothing, she is just making me laugh." I was very confused at that point and he explained that she was buzzing her lips, and talking, and when he went in there she was playing with her toy that I had put in there earlier to entertain her while I was cleaning her room. He said it was funny, because she looked at him like, "Come on Dad, we got a nap, let's get up and play!!" He ended up bringing her in bed with him, to play and they both fell asleep.
OK well that's enough, pictures are more fun anyway. More to come soon...

Here is the link to our Chiroprator's office and that is her getting swung upside down! I honestly would recommend a chiropractor to anyone. I really love ours-Dr. Dykgraaf. He is right off of Plainfield.

so scared and so excited!?!?!?!
My little beast rolled over today. It was so funny because she made her moment of victory during the only 1/2 hour Dan and I and her were all together in the last 3 days. She has such great timing!
Side note- she giggled so excitedly once she got to her belly and then fussed a lot- I think she was confused as to how she got to her stomach (her least favorite position)
I am scared becasue I am afraid that this is only the begining of the inevitable learning to crawl and getting into everything stage!! :( Oh well I am very proud that she rolled over before she turned 6 months!! ~okay so only 4 days before she turned 6 months but still, she did it!!
